Ethical Responsibility
During my time student teaching I earned the respect of the students and that came with a lot of responsibility. Many times I would be told stories by the students that needed to be shared with my mentor and administration. Knowing the boundaries between teacher and student is an important responsibility.
Positive Attitude
Professionalism
This includes everything from dress and demeanor to language and behavior. For teachers this includes inside and outside of the classroom.
Having a positive attitude is important when entering the classroom. Teaching is a career where personal issues need to be left at home. The energy brought into the classroom by the teacher will be the energy for the day to the students. Staying positive even when the day is hard is the key.
